We've assembled what could be one of the finest teaching staffs in drum corps today!
Joe Nuccio, Horn Instructor

Steve Wolpe, Percussion
Steve Wolpe joined the percussion staff at the beginning of the 2010 season.
Steve has been teaching and performing professionally in the Boston area for over 30 years. Currently he is the drummer for The Chris Fitz Band www.chrisfitzband.com. He has performed with various other local bands such as Fatwall Jack, Taylor Made, The Bruce Marshall Group and Mission of Blues.
Along with a performing background Steve is also very involved with marching percussion in this area as well. His drum and bugle corps resume includes:
1971 - 72 / Lt. Norman Prince - Snare drum
1973 - 74 / Legion Vanguard - Snare drum
1975 - 76 / 27th Lancers - Snare drum
1979 - 80 / The Guardsmen - Percussion head
1981 - 82 / The Defenders - Percussion head
2008 - Present / The Defenders Alumni Corps - Percussion head
2008 - Present / The Legends of Drum Corps - Percussion head

Cathy LaSelva, Drill Instructor
Cathie (Callahan) LaSelva began her marching career in 1965 with Saint Agnes Band, Arlington, Massachusetts. Beginning in 1969 and continuing through 1977 she was the drum major of the Prep and then the Senior Band. In 1977 St. Agnes Band was the CYO Champion finishing in 1st place the entire season. In 1978 her age out year she played baritone with the DCI Finalist "North Star" from the North Shore of Massachusetts.
In January of 1991 Ed Dennon (horn instructor of the Crusader Senior Corps) and former band instructor of St. Agnes wanted to know when she was joining BAC Seniors. Cathie has played baritone with the corps ever since, where she met and married the President and Drum Major "Jack LaSelva".
